Acceptable Use Policy

Version 1.0Effective 01-09-20264 min read

This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses GimartHub. The Community Guidelines are the plain-language companion to this document; the Prohibited Items Policy covers what may be listed.

1. General principles

Use GimartHub honestly, safely, and lawfully. Do not use it to harm others, to defraud, or to undermine the trust the marketplace depends on.

Several things listed below are not only breaches of this Policy but also criminal offences under Pakistan's Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 (PECA, as amended by the 2025 Amendment Act) — including unauthorised access to an information system or data, electronic fraud, electronic forgery, identity theft, and dishonest interference with or retention of data — and under comparable laws elsewhere. GimartHub keeps audit logs (IP and access logs, order timelines, chat logs, delivery and payment records) and cooperates with the FIA, the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), and the courts on valid legal process.

2. You must not

2.1 Fraud and financial abuse

  • Misrepresent a Listing (false rank, region, skins, stock, delivery time, or condition).
  • Fail to deliver after payment, or deliver something materially different.
  • Sell assets you do not own or are not authorised to sell.
  • Recover, reclaim or regain access to a game account after selling it (via the original email, a linked phone, 2FA, or a publisher recovery flow) — this is both fraud on the Platform and, in Pakistan, a likely PECA 2016 offence (unauthorised access / dishonest retention).
  • Engage in chargeback fraud, "friendly fraud", triangulation fraud, or use stolen payment instruments.
  • Launder money or use the Platform (including the GimartHub Balance) to move value for unlawful purposes or between users.
  • Manipulate prices, create fake scarcity, or coordinate with others to deceive buyers.

2.2 Circumventing the Platform

  • Move a transaction off-Platform to avoid escrow, fees, or protections, or ask another user to do so.
  • Share contact details (phone, email, messaging handles, social links) or off-Platform payment details in Listings or order chat to arrange an off-Platform deal. (Automated masking and flagging applies; repeated attempts are penalised.)
  • Create multiple or fake accounts, use another person's account, or evade a suspension/ban.
  • Buy your own Listings or use accomplices to inflate sales or ratings.

2.3 Ratings, reviews, and reputation

  • Post fake, incentivised, coerced, or retaliatory reviews.
  • Threaten a negative review (or a dispute) to extract something from the other party.
  • Offer to remove or trade reviews.

2.4 Content and communications

  • Harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against anyone.
  • Post sexual content involving minors — ever — or any content that is illegal, hateful, or incites violence.
  • Share other people's private information without consent (doxxing).
  • Spam, advertise unrelated services, or send bulk unsolicited messages.
  • Impersonate GimartHub staff, a game publisher, another user, or anyone else.

2.5 Security and platform integrity

  • Upload malware, phishing links, or malicious code.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Platform without authorisation. To report a security issue responsibly, use the contact page and mark it “security” and do not disclose it publicly until it is fixed.
  • Bypass or attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or access controls.
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data at scale, or use bots to interact with the Platform, except a well-behaved indexer following our robots.txt.
  • Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure (including DoS/DDoS).
  • Reverse engineer the Platform except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law.
  • Infringe intellectual-property rights (see the DMCA Policy).
  • List Prohibited Items.
  • Violate the export controls or sanctions of any applicable jurisdiction.
  • Use the Platform in a way that violates any law that applies to you.

3. Listing and delivery standards (sellers)

  • Describe the asset accurately, including known defects, prior bans, and any recovery risk.
  • Keep stock counts current; do not list what you cannot deliver.
  • Deliver within your stated time using the stated method; record delivery on the order.
  • For boosting: follow the agreed scope; disclose whether account login is required; do not use cheats or unauthorised software.
  • Do not ask a buyer to confirm delivery before you have actually delivered.

4. Buyer standards

  • Provide accurate payment and (where required) identity information.
  • Confirm delivery promptly once you have received and checked the asset.
  • Open disputes in good faith with genuine evidence; do not use disputes as leverage.

5. Enforcement

Depending on severity and history, we may: warn you; remove or edit content; limit features (listing caps, longer payout holds); withhold or reverse a payout; freeze funds pending review; suspend or permanently ban your account and linked accounts; and report conduct to payment providers or authorities where appropriate. See the Refund & Dispute Policy for how funds are handled in these cases.

6. Reporting violations

Use the in-Platform "Report" action or use the contact page. For safety emergencies, contact your local authorities first.

Money amounts are shown in your local currency at today's rate, with the original figure in parentheses. GimartHub is operated under the Omnalerge name. Questions: contact us.
